The 2017 RIBA Stirling Prize is imminent!

The British Museum WCEC featuring 1,600m² of our Bowers Roach on the new façade has been shortlisted for the 2017 Stirling Prize

With this year’s RIBA Stirling Prize in mind we have looked back at previous projects that have been nominated for the Stirling Prize:

1998
British Library by Colin St John Wilson & Partners
Albion Stone manufactured treads and risers, straight ashlar panels and circular ashlar panels, internal flooring, skirting, external paving, copings, gully stones and quoins in Independent Whitbed. Albion Stone also donated the stone used for the plaque for Queen’s opening.

2001
Portcullis House by Michael Hopkins and Partners
36m³ internal courtyard flooring in Bowers Basebed

2002
Millennium Wing, National Gallery of Ireland by Benson + Forsyth
850m² rainscreen cladding, retaining façade & side elevation in Bowers Whitbed & Bowers Basebed flooring. Albion Stone also provided the foundation stone to Richard Kindersley for inscription.
