1 Old Jewry is a construction which comprises of retail outlets at ground floor level with six floors of office space above and residential apartments on the top two floors.

Albion Stone supplied 200m ³ of stone faced panels in Portland Bowers Whitbed with aluminium cladding to Stone Contractor Szerelemey for the project.

Standard Life Investments wished to construct a mixed use development of the highest standard, befitting its location in the city, on the corner site of 1-5 Old Jewry and 36-39 Poultry.

The development comprises of commercial offices and sub-divisible retail space on the ground floor and basement.   In total, the amount of space is over 10,000m ² of which is 1,000m ² in retail space.

The key challenge was the location, which was within a restricted area. Due care and consideration was needed with the neighbouring properties when constructing the development.
