Main Contractor:
Blenheim House Construction
Portland Stone:
Jordans Whitbed & Bowers Basebed
Scope of Project:
Construction of new Portland Stone building with two additional floors

The work included a new central core and two new floors to create a 55,000 sq ft building. The existing building’s original facades of limestone and glazed brick are retained with modern, glazed infills and new natural Portland Stone detailing and full- height glazing to the rooftop extension.

The ground and basement floors were also remodelled to provide reception, office and retail space. The perfect reception combines an impressive image with a warm welcome for visitors and staff alike. Forum House, with its limestone and granite entrance, is designed to accommodate precisely that balance.

This project was awarded a Gold award by the City of London Considerate Contractors Scheme in their Annual Code of Practice Awards Ceremony 2008.
