The Project comprises a large office development of approximately 2,789m2 of office floor space arranged over 7 Storeys. Based in Soho, 30–31 the third building completed in Golden Square in recent years using Albion Stone’s material.

Using a stone on pre-cast system, the architect specified Portland Stone for the project to contrast with the metallic grey steel framework of the design and to complement the existing Portland Stone buildings.

The design incorporated stone panels from the ground to 5th floor topped with the steel- framed glassed panels on the 6th & 7th floors. Independent Basebed was selected due to its durability and aesthetics.

Albion Stone supplied approximately 63m3of Independent Basebed which was worked into ashlar panels and copings at Albion’s Factory in Portland.

This was then transported to Techrete’s works in Ireland where it was assembled into larger sections and attached to pre-cast concrete panels.
