Traditional Cladding to External Façade

Apex Hotels purchased the existing 1960's office block at the corner of Copthall Avenue and Great Swan Alley in the heart of the City of London with a view to converting it to a 5 star hotel.

The project involved replacing the existing envelope and extending the building by a further 2 floors.   It consists of approximately 62m ³ of Portland Bowers Basebed stack bonded, some bird mouthed and vertical rebates at some joints.

The luxury boutique Apex Wall Hotel London is being developed as a luxury property with 89 spacious bedrooms and suites.

The boutique hotel will also host a stylish restaurant and bar serving up traditional and modern British cuisine, a private dining room, and a gym fitted with some of the best cardiovascular and resistance equipment around.
