Quick refurbishment of the 90 Long Acre site

The project comprised the refurbishment of the vacant 90 Long Acre site to increase the building’s prominence, and rebrand the site in order to encourage new tenants.

With a contract value estimated at £5.9 million, the project was for a fast track refurbishment and a two stage tender scheme.

The original entrance on Long Acre was uninviting and detached from the street, and the reception area was low and poorly lit.

Squire and Partners were commissioned to redesign both areas, as well as refurbish the office space over five floors.

Portland stone was chosen for the project to create an ‘elegant and luminous’ interior, and to create ‘an inviting’ preface to the building.

Albion Stone supplied large Bowers Basebed panels for the project, up to 1800mm x 800mm and ranging from 50mm to 250mm thick, these were then fixed by Pisani Ltd.
