Ebury Square is a luxury residential development in the heart of Belgra-via. Berkley Homes employed Squire and Partners to transform the original 1950’s structure into two apartment buildings providing the highest quality, contemporary accommodation.

For such a prestigious project – apartments range from £3.5m to £24m – Squire's design team chose Portland Stone cladding for the seven-storey building facing Ebury Square.

The practice has years of experience designing with Portland Stone and after careful consideration, Jordans Basebed was specified for its con-sistent aesthetic qualities and unique environmental benefits.

Following a visit to Albion Stone’s quarry, the project team agreed the stone range from our Sample Panels. Albion supplied 6,500m² of 50mm thick Jordans Basebed in a variety of panel sizes.

The new development responds to the context of Belgravia’s Conservation Area it lays within and greatly improves the environmental efficiency of the original building.
