Fitzroy Place is a unique three acre site in the heart of London’s West End.

Exemplar, in partnership with Aviva Investors and Kaupthing employed both Liftschitz Davidson Sandilands and Sheppard Robson to transform the site into a development which will provide 235 private apartments, retail, restaurant, and commercial space, in addition to on-site health facilities and a public garden.

For such a prestigious project in Fitzrovia, the design team chose the Portland Grove Whitbed stone for the project due to its unique aesthetics – the stone matched its surroundings but modernised the locations Edwardian identity.

The project team visited Albion Stone’s site to view their extraction and production operations, and agree the range of stone for the project. Albion supplied approximately 300m2 of stone for the project.
