Albion Stone are pleased to announce that two of our very talented Apprentices returned from this year's Annual Boss Stone Competition with winning places.
The competition involved students creating their own design in line with this year's theme which was '1914-1918'. Their design needed to include features such as animals, human figures and foliage to reflect the early 1900's brief. Competitor's had only 2.5 days to carve from block their very own boss stone carving and then present it to the judges.
We are very proud to say that Elliott Miller our NVQ Level 2 Apprentice, won 1st place in the first year category and Yasmin Impson our NVQ Level 3 Apprentice, came away with winning place for the whole competition.
