Albion Stone is committed to reducing the carbon impact of all our operations. We are researching a number of different options and hope to be able to negotiate an electricity supply contract for only using renewable electricity.
Currently Albion Stone is the only UK dimension stone company to have prepared an EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) for our stone which has been independently verified using data from the work completed on ISO 14001 and BES 6001. This EPD covers the cradle to gate operations which includes, extraction, transportation to factory and factory processing.
