Located near St Paul’s Cathedral, 125 Wood Street is a new office building comprising of Portland Stone and aluminium curtain walling and rainscreen cladding.

The project consisted of a refurbishment, extension and re-cladding of the existing 45,000 sq ft 1986 office building in the City of London which now delivers 63,000 sq ft of prime office space.

Albion Stone supplied approximately 1,200 square metres of 75mm hand-set Jordans Whitbed for the facades. The windows punctuate the stone in slim vertical bands which are articulated by angles window reveals.

The building achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating. Using our Portland Stone can add 3 BREEAM credits to a building.

The building was completed in autumn 2014 and was winner of the OAS ‘City Development of the Year Award 2015'.
