Construction of new multi-use development
40 Portman Square is a prime West End site providing high quality office accommodation together with 20 luxury residential apartments in one of London’s most sought-after locations.
Squire & Partners designed scheme replaces two existing buildings dating from the 1960's and will provide 97,000 sq ft of office space and 25,000 sq ft of residential accommodation.
The main North-facing facade balances solid and glazed elements. On the South side, facing a mews, brick and Portland stone panels reflect the more informal character of the mews.
The building incorporates column free floor space with floor to ceiling glazing in a Portland stone frame, large reception area and a contemporary design.
