8 Finsbury Circus is situated in the heart of London’s financial district.

Wilkinson Eyre Architects were appointed for the redevelopment of the former River Plate House.

Portland stone was specified for both the internal and external stonework package.

The external package consisted of new Portland stone and bronze facades, detailed in a contemporary manner and the cleaning and restoration of existing stonework.

The building has achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating.

Albion Stone supplied approximately £100,000 worth of Jordans Whitbed and Grove Whitbed for the decorative internal panels.

The project has received several awards, including the RIBA National Award, City of London Building of the Year, New London Awards, Best Office Project, BCO Best Commercial Workplace London which is reflective of the client’s desire to create an “exemplary” new office building within this historic setting.
