We have been striving to reduce our energy consumption and our achievements include
a. The installation of £0.5m of Solar Panels with the assistance of the Crown Estate on the roof of our factory.
b. Switching from diesel generators to mains power at the Jordans and Bowers mine sites.
c. Installing new machinery that is more energy efficient.
Our objectives include:
d. Continuously monitor our extraction and production operations looking for changes in technology to assist us in reducing the energy consumption.
e. To maximise the use of renewable and low carbon energy sources and explore all possibilities to expand renewable production on site.
