Albion Stone opens their mine to local residents
On Saturday 1st June we held a 'mine open day' for Portland residents who live close to our mining operation.
The aim was to update residents on our mining activities and future plans and answer any questions they may have.
We had over 100 visitors turn up. Small groups were taken round by our Mine Manager, Mark Godden who talked to them in detail about our operations and addressed any queries they had.
Thankfully the weather was good and the visitors all enjoyed the experience.
