We have recently taken delivery of a new Street Crane at our Portland factory, a major investment that will transform the way we manage our slab stock.
Covering more than 1,000m² of stockyard space, the crane enables us to efficiently organise, handle and palletise a significantly larger volume of Portland Stone slabs. This investment is a key step in expanding our slab stockholding and improving availability for customers across the UK.
While many customers know us as a trusted supplier of Portland Stone block, we are now growing our range of stocked slabs and can offer a variety of sizes and finishes with exceptionally short turnaround times.
By increasing our stock levels and streamlining our handling processes, we can provide quicker access to high quality Portland Stone, helping architects, contractors, stonemasons and fabricators meet demanding project schedules.
Our ambition is to create one of the most accessible Portland Stone slab stock programmes in the industry. As stock levels continue to grow, customers will increasingly be able to browse available materials and purchase directly through our website, making the process of sourcing Portland Stone simpler and more convenient than ever.
