Redevelopment and extension of existing building.
The redevelopment and extension to the Grade II listed BBC Broadcasting House was a major development in the heart of London’s West End which was undertaken in two phases.
The planning problems were extremely challenging as the site is surrounded by 14 listed buildings including the Grade I listed All Souls Church.
Bowers Roach, New Independent Whitbed and Bowers Whitbed were both supplied to Techrete for Stone on Precast panels & integration into the Mero Cladding System.
Albion Stone provided approximately 7,000m² of stone (combined) for Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the project.
