Albion Stone supplied a range of Portland Stone products for this contemporary private residence in South East London.

Having previously lived in a home featuring Portland Stone, the client was keen to incorporate the material into their new property, valuing its character, durability, and natural appearance. Portland Stone was selected as a defining feature throughout both the interior and exterior design, helping to create a cohesive scheme that links the living spaces with the surrounding landscape.

The project incorporated Jordans Basebed flooring throughout the internal living spaces, Heritage Portland Stone Bricks to create a striking internal feature wall, Grove Whitbed paving across the external terraces and landscaped areas, and Jordans Whitbed for the external steps. By using Portland Stone throughout the home and garden, the design achieves a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces while creating a strong visual connection across the property.

Working closely with the design team, Albion Stone supplied materials tailored to the project's requirements, including random length paving to help minimise waste and maximise material efficiency. The result is a contemporary family home that demonstrates the breadth of Portland Stone applications, combining flooring, brickwork, paving, and landscape elements within a unified design.
