Around 2,000 m2 of Portland's Jordans Basebed was used for the façade of this exclusive 9,500 sq. ft new-build private residence on a prestigious Surrey estate.
The architect selected Portland stone as the cladding of choice for this modern-classical mansion due to it’s timeless elegance and exceptional durability-perfectly complementing the estates tradition of luxurious, architecturally significant homes.
A bespoke, curved Portland stone wall forms a grand entrance to Finchfield, while the creamy-white, fine grained Jordans Basebed was chosen for it’s suitability for intricate carvings and refined stone detailing throughout the exterior.
Inside, an elegant Portland stone fireplace serves as a focal point in the main sitting room of this distinguished home.
